Story

For the Fighters
Special Jersey Number
11

As a tribute to Yu Darvish and Shohei Ohtani, two players who have embodied "breaking out of the stereotypes, innovation, and progressiveness" in the history of the Fighters and who are still active overseas while achieving further growth, we have named the team "TOWER 11 (Tower Eleven)" after "11," the special number of the Fighters that both players have in common.

Comment Yu Darvish

I believe that TOWER 11 was created together with Fighters fans, the Fighters themselves, everyone involved, and especially the seniors who have worn the number 11 and fought for the Fighters in the past. I hope that the Fighters and Fighters fans will come together again from scratch and create a wonderful history at the new stadium.

Comment from Shohei Ohtani

I am delighted that his name will be engraved in a page of Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters history as "TOWER 11," along with his memorable uniform number. I sincerely hope that the Fighters will continue to make great strides with the new stadium.
